Privacy & deletion

Draft — 2026-10-24-draft-v1. This page states the product scope GroomMe is built to enforce. Items marked [CHRIS DECISION] are parked for the owner (and counsel, if he chooses) before selling beyond the pilot.

What we collect

Your recorded takes, an optional reference photo, and the derived voice profile, avatar reference set and polished clips — all inside your person-kit, keyed by a hash of your checkout session, never by your raw payment id on disk.

What we never do

We never use your face or voice to model anyone else, never sell your kit, and never train shared/public models on it. Your model is yours, used only for your pack.

Retention

[CHRIS DECISION] Raw takes: proposed 30 days after delivery, then deleted. Model / reference set: kept until you ask for deletion. Confirm or change these periods.

Deletion — your right, in the product

You can delete your entire kit — takes, models, voice profile and deliverables — at any time from your capture link via Delete my data (POST /kit/delete), or by contacting support. Deletion removes the local kit and attempts deletion from durable storage; the response states both results honestly.
